Hornets coach Byron Scott has stated that he intends to rest his superstar point guard more this season. That shouldn't surprise anyone.Scott has said the exact same thing before each of the previous three seasons, but Chris Paul has played more each season of his short and brilliant career. Last season the Hornets were forced to play Paul 38.5 minutes per game. There was probably no other team which relied more upon it's star than the Hornets who simply had no depth in their backcourt.Quite simply the team looked lost without their leader on the court. This season they hope that the addition of rookie Darren Collison and third year player Bobby Brown will solve their chronic problem at the backup point guard position.
